Structural Welders – Marinette, WI

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join a commercial shipbuilding facility in Marinette, WI. This facility supports Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Defense (DOD) projects, building and repairing vessels to meet demanding marine industry standards.

Qualified candidates must have strong structural welding experience and be able to pass a weld test in multiple positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on carbon steel plate in a shipbuilding environment.
• Weld in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions.
• Follow welding procedures, blueprints, and specifications.
• Maintain proper weld quality and meet production standards.
• Work safely in a shipyard environment while supporting DOT and DOD projects.

Requirements

• Previous structural welding experience in shipbuilding, fabrication, or heavy industrial environments.
• Must pass a 2G, 3G, and 4G weld test on 3/8" carbon steel plate.
• Ability to read and follow welding procedures and work instructions.
• Must provide personal welding hood and basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shipbuilding environment.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.
