About the Role
A leading corporate energy and infrastructure organization in Tempe is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for immediate short-term leave coverage. This contract requires zero ramp-up time to step in and maintain daily invoice queues, expense approvals, and vendor workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, 3-way match, and post high-volume vendor invoices accurately
- Audit employee expense reports against corporate policy and GL codes
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and department leads
- Ensure strict adherence to approved vendor lists and payment authorizations
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of corporate Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Hands-on SAP experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field preferred
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Full commitment to work onsite in Tempe for the complete duration (10/17 – 11/24)
