Job Description
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Job Type: Temporary – 12-month assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $28.89–$35.84/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and provide quality patient care in a healthcare setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California.
- Completion of an externship required by a Medical Assisting Program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- MA externship from an accredited college or MA diploma.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information and terminology.
- Ability to effectively present information, both verbally and in writing.
