Stick Welders – Night Shift (Houston, TX – Shipyard)

We are seeking skilled Stick Welders to join our team in a Houston, TX shipyard. This is a night shift role (3:30 PM–1:30 AM, or 3:30 PM–3:30 AM for 12-hour shifts) with steady, long-term work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality stick welding with 5/32 6011 and 1/8" 7018 electrodes.
• Pass 3G & 4G weld tests (vertical up & overhead) on 90° unbeveled plates.
• Conduct visual inspections to meet standards.
• Assist with fit-up and blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in stick welding (6011 & 7018).
• Able to pass 3G/4G tests and meet inspection requirements.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Shipyard experience preferred.

Details:

• Schedule: 7 days/week, 10-hour night shifts.
• Duration: 1 year+ project.
