Diesel Mechanic – Nevada

Diesel Mechanic 

We are seeking Diesel Mechanics of all skill levels to support the refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of heavy Truss Driver and HUTTE drilling equipment. Candidates should have strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working on CAT or Cummins diesel engines.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on Truss Drivers and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Complete equipment inspections, repairs, testing, and reassembly.
• Perform on-site metal fabrication as needed.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Document completed repairs and maintenance.
• Operate repaired equipment to verify proper performance.
• Support customer mechanics and work with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.

Requirements:

• Diesel mechanic experience; all levels considered.
• Experience with CAT or Cummins diesel engines preferred.
• Strong hydraulic and electrical experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
