US Electrical Operations Manager
Position Summary
We’re seeking a US Electrical Operations Manager to lead and grow its electrical construction business across the United States. This role oversees operations, estimating, business development, and project execution while ensuring safe, high-quality, and profitable delivery of utility-scale energy and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is a proven electrical construction leader with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction operations across multiple projects.
- Provide technical leadership throughout planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop construction standards, quality processes, and best practices.
- Support estimating, proposal development, contract reviews, and project handoffs.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and labor partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts.
- Monitor project safety, quality, schedules, budgets, and profitability.
- Assist with change orders, procurement, staffing, and commissioning activities.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and client requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Journeyman/Master Electrician, Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
- 5+ years in operations, project management, estimating, or leadership.
- Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, industrial, power generation, or heavy commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, estimating, and contract management.
- Ability to travel throughout the U.S.
Preferred
- Utility-scale solar and BESS experience.
- Electrical contractor license(s).
- Experience in both union and open-shop environments.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
