Emergency Room RN – Buda, TX

This is a Travel Position. Please do not apply if you live within 50 miles of the facility.

Candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility to be eligible.

Location: Buda, TX 78610 (Greater Austin Region)

Assignment: 13 weeks | Travel Position

Shift: Days and Nights

Weekend Requirement: Yes

Patient Ratio: 1:3

Pay: $ 70 (Stipends included)

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC preferred/required per unit requirements
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Emergency Department experience
• Triage experience highly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Prioritize patient needs and recognize changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation
• Delegate appropriate tasks while ensuring timely follow-up
