Equipment Spotter
Job Description
We are seeking Electrical Spotters to support an industrial electrical installation project at a production facility in Goodyear, AZ.
This position will primarily assist the electrical crew with spotting and safely guiding boom lifts and other equipment while electricians perform overhead electrical, lighting, conduit, and power distribution work.
Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated spotter for boom lifts and aerial equipment
- Safely guide operators around personnel, equipment, structures, and other site hazards
- Maintain awareness of overhead and surrounding hazards
- Assist electricians with material handling and general electrical installation support
- Help stage conduit, wire, fixtures, and electrical materials
- Assist with installation of conduit, wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all site safety requirements and PPE guidelines
- Communicate effectively with electricians, equipment operators, and site supervision
- Assist with other general electrical tasks within your skill level
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous industrial or commercial electrical experience preferred
- AP Electrician or electrical helper experience is a plus
- Experience spotting boom lifts or other aerial equipment preferred
- Familiarity with construction-site safety practices
- Ability to work around active industrial production equipment
- Ability to work early mornings and extended shifts when required
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be comfortable working on an active industrial construction site
