ER RN (Travel) — Buda, TX

This is a Travel Position. Please do not submit candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Location: Buda, TX

Schedule: Variable days, 6:45 PM–6:45 AM 

Hours: 36 hours/week 

Patient Ratio: 1:3 

Weekends: Required 

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Payrate: $70 (Inclusion of stipends)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Buda, TX, near Austin.

This opportunity is ideal for an ED RN with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable working night shifts and providing safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. Triage experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and identify patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care.
• Modify plans of care based on patient response and clinical outcomes.
• Provide safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Delegate appropriate tasks based on patient needs and staff competency.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patients' medical conditions.
• Educate patients and families and support informed healthcare decisions.
• Advocate for patient rights, dignity, privacy, and autonomy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS.
• TNCC (Preferred)
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Triage experience highly preferred.
