Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a 16-week travel assignment in McKinney, TX. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced ED RN who is comfortable working in a Level II Trauma Center and providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, evaluate patient responses, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe and effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and identify patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care.
• Modify plans of care based on patient response and clinical outcomes.
• Provide safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Delegate appropriate tasks based on patient needs, staff competency, and applicable nursing standards.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patients' medical conditions.
• Educate patients and families and support informed healthcare decisions.
• Advocate for patient rights, dignity, privacy, and autonomy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS.
• TNCC.
• At least 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
