Job Description
Structural Welder – Flux Core / Stick
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week
We are seeking experienced Structural Welders with strong Flux Core and Stick Welding experience. Candidates should be comfortable welding on beams and columns and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding on beams, columns, and other steel components.
- Weld using 3/32" Flux Core wire (FCAW).
- Perform Stick Welding (SMAW) using 7018 electrodes.
- Follow welding procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Assist with pipe fitting when qualified.
Requirements
- Experience with 3/32" Flux Core welding.
- Required experience with 7018 Stick Welding (SMAW).
- Must be comfortable welding on beams and columns.
- Ability to run 1/16" rod in the 2G/flat position.
- AWS D1.1 certification is sufficient.
- Pipe-fitting experience is highly preferred and may increase the likelihood of selection.
- Must successfully pass the required weld test.
