Fluxcore Welders – Galveston, TX

Working Days: Monday–Saturday 

Hours: 60 per week

Job Length: Long Term

Seeking an experienced Structural Welder for shipyard work. Must be proficient with .045 flux-core using 100% CO₂, capable of vertical-up and overhead welding, and able to pass a 12" plate test and groove weld test (2 unbeveled edges).

Requirements:

• Experience with .045 flux-core, 100% CO₂
• Skilled in vertical-up and overhead welding
• Able to pass required plate and groove weld tests
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Shipyard experience preferred
• HS diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Weld structural components per shipyard standards
• Perform vertical-up and overhead welds
• Complete required weld tests
• Follow safety procedures and work with team to meet project specs
