Lead/Foreman (Pipefitter)

We are seeking experienced Foremen with a strong pipefitting, industrial piping, and gas plant background to lead crews on natural gas pipeline installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects nationwide. Candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings, manage redlines, conduct field walkouts, organize crews, and oversee daily work activities while remaining hands-on and willing to work alongside their crews when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and coordinate crews performing pipefitting, piping installation, and gas plant construction activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, isometric drawings, piping plans, and specifications.
• Review and manage redlines to document field changes and ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• Conduct field walkouts to verify site conditions, identify material requirements, and plan work activities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity and meet project schedules.
• Oversee pipe fit-up, alignment, bolt-up, installation, and modification of piping systems, fittings, flanges, valves, and supports.
• Provide hands-on support and perform field work alongside the crew as needed.
• Monitor workmanship, enforce safety procedures, and ensure work meets project specifications.
• Communicate with project management, other trades, and site supervision to resolve field issues and coordinate activities.

Qualifications

• Strong pipefitting, industrial piping, or gas plant construction experience required.
• Previous foreman or crew leadership experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, isometrics, and piping plans.
• Experience managing redlines and conducting field walkouts.
• Proven ability to lead crews, organize daily work, and maintain productivity.
• Hands-on knowledge of pipe installation, fit-up, bolt-up, and industrial piping systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass required background screenings and drug testing.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for extended project durations.
