Job Description
Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Onsite Construction / Occupational Health
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to provide onsite medical support at an active construction project. This role focuses on treating minor injuries, illnesses, and work-related incidents while supporting overall site safety and workforce health.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide onsite medical care for injuries, illnesses, and first response situations
- Assess and treat workers’ compensation-related incidents
- Support injury prevention and safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with site leadership as needed
- Ensure compliance with site-specific safety and medical protocols
Work Environment
- Work out of a fully equipped onsite medical trailer (10-office setup with lounge area)
- Support a large construction workforce in an active jobsite environment
- Must be comfortable working outside of a traditional hospital setting
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts (day and night coverage required)
- Rotating schedule: 3 shifts one week / 4 shifts the next (36/48)
- 24/7 coverage – shifts may vary based on project needs
- Project will require a team of 8+ NPs, with additional float coverage
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, ER, or construction/industrial settings preferred
- Experience with workers’ compensation cases strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Willingness to complete site-specific safety certifications
