Painters – Calvert City, KY

We are hiring Marine Painters to work on inland river barges in a shipyard environment. Painters of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare steel surfaces for painting and coating
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to barges
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as required
• Perform surface preparation, including grinding and cleaning
• Follow coating specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Previous painting or industrial/marine painting experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work outdoors and in a shipyard environment
• Ability to work from lifts, scaffolding, or other elevated work areas when required
• Must be safety-conscious and dependable
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
