Job Title: Pipe Fitter – Navy Ship New Construction

Job Description:

As a Pipe Fitter specializing in new construction for Navy ships in North East Wisconsin, your primary responsibilities will include skillfully silver brazing CuNi pipe to bronze sleeves in vertical and horizontal flow configurations. Additionally, you will be tasked with silver brazing CuNi pipe to carbon steel sleeves and copper couplings to copper pipes in both vertical and horizontal flow setups. Please note that this testing will be conducted in a semi-restricted booth to ensure safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Silver braze CuNi pipe to bronze sleeves according to project specifications and welding procedures.

- Perform silver brazing of CuNi pipe to carbon steel sleeves in vertical and horizontal flow systems.

- Skillfully attach copper couplings to copper pipes for vertical and horizontal flow applications.

- Conduct testing in a semi-restricted booth to ensure accurate and safe fabrication.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and high-quality pipe fitting work.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter, preferably in new construction projects for Navy ships.

- Proficiency in silver brazing techniques, specifically connecting CuNi pipe to bronze sleeves and carbon steel sleeves.

- Knowledge of copper coupling installation for copper pipe systems.

- Ability to work effectively in a semi-restricted testing environment while maintaining safety protocols.

- Strong attention to detail and precision in pipe fitting tasks.

- Relevant certifications in pipe fitting and brazing processes.
