Senior Project Manager_Solar
Job Description
Must have utility scale solar project portfolio.
Remote with 50% travel.
The Project Manager supports the planning and execution of multiple construction projects ranging from $1M–$50M. This role works closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Owners to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts, change orders, submittals, purchasing, budgets, cost coding, and resource allocation.
- Attend project planning and coordination meetings.
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, and site progress for quality and compliance.
- Prepare RFIs, correspondence, notices, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Track schedules, budgets, deliverables, and project goals.
- Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in medium/high-voltage distribution, substations, or utility-scale solar.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Experience with CPM schedules, RFIs, submittals, payment reviews, and site coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Civil Engineering or Construction Management considered.
- Valid driver’s license required.
