Shop Fabricator – Casper, WY

We are seeking an experienced Shop Fabricator to support the fabrication of process piping, pipe and cable tray supports, transformer vaults, and various structural and mechanical components for a large-scale industrial electrical and construction project.  The Fabricator will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, fitting, preparing, and assembling materials according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements. This is a shop-based position requiring strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate process piping and related components in a controlled shop environment.
• Fabricate pipe supports, cable tray supports, transformer vault components, and miscellaneous structural assemblies.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
• Perform accurate layout, measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting, and assembly.
• Perform pipe and structural steel fit-up to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Use saws, grinders, drills, torches, and other shop fabrication equipment safely.
• Prepare materials and components for welding and final assembly.
• Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and overall quality.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in industrial fabrication, pipe fabrication, structural fabrication, or a related trade preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements.
• Demonstrated proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment.
• Experience with process piping, structural steel, supports, or miscellaneous steel fabrication preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
