Skilled Laborer / Entry-Level Ironworker
Job Description
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 50–60 hrs/week
Length: 6+ months |
Pay: $30–$35/hr DOE
Seeking a Skilled Laborer / Entry-Level Ironworker with a strong construction background and carpentry experience. Ideal for someone with some ironwork or structural steel experience looking to grow in the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with structural steel erection, installation, and alignment
- Bolt, connect, and secure steel members
- Assist with rigging, signaling, and material handling
- Load/unload and stage materials
- Use hand and power tools
- Maintain a safe, clean jobsite
Requirements:
- 6 months–2 years construction/steel/ironwork experience preferred
- Carpentry experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Fall Protection Certification REQUIRED
- Scissor Lift/MEWP Certification REQUIRED
- Pass drug screen and 7-year background check
