Solar Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Solar Installers to perform full-scope installation of flush-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays on existing roof structures. Candidates will be responsible for all phases of the installation process, including mechanical mounting, DC wiring, and AC electrical installation. Successful candidates should have hands-on solar installation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on active jobsites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install flush-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays on existing roof structures.
• Perform complete mechanical installation of solar panels, racking systems, mounting hardware, and related components.
• Install, route, and terminate DC wiring associated with PV systems.
• Perform AC electrical installation and connections associated with solar arrays.
• Follow installation plans, electrical drawings, and project specifications.
• Ensure all installations meet applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Safely operate tools and equipment required for solar installation.
• Work at heights and follow all required fall protection and jobsite safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades and project personnel to maintain installation schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing commercial or utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical solar installation, DC wiring, and AC electrical work.
• Working knowledge of PV system components, racking systems, and electrical connections.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights.
• Ability to lift materials, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Electrical certifications or applicable trade experience preferred.

Position Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to the designated jobsite.
• Must be able to work safely in an active construction environment.
• Must provide appropriate tools and PPE as required by the project.
