Job Description
Senior Director, Business Intelligence – Healthcare
We are seeking an experienced healthcare business intelligence leader to oversee reporting, analytics, and decision support. This role will develop a strong team, improve reporting accuracy and reliability, and help leadership use healthcare data to make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reporting and analytics staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify business questions and deliver actionable analysis.
- Improve reporting quality, automate manual processes, and expand access to useful information.
- Maintain reliable reporting platforms, timely data updates, and critical operational reports.
- Analyze complex healthcare business issues and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate reporting technologies and system enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and strengthen the team’s understanding of healthcare data.
- Protect confidential information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- At least five years of management or leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data and its business applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, Excel, and VBA.
- Experience with healthcare administration or managed care systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely results.
