Job Title: Senior Project Coordinator – Architecture

Location: Maitland, FL (On-Site)

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 Base Salary

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire

Role Overview

An established Central Florida architecture and engineering firm is seeking an Architectural Senior Project Coordinator to lead drawing production, technical coordination, and project delivery across active commercial programs. This role provides an immediate, defined advancement track to Project Architect (upon licensure), Assistant Project Manager, or Technical Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and oversee complete architectural design packages, Construction Documents (CDs), and technical specifications.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal project teams with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate drawing sets across structural, civil, and MEP engineering disciplines.
• Manage the municipal permitting process, including code research, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) contact, and comment resolution.
• Support Construction Administration (CA) workflows, including submittal reviews, RFI responses, and job site meetings.
• Maintain quality control, drafting conventions, and client design standards across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of architectural experience as an Architectural Graduate or Project Coordinator.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or international equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of building construction methods, technical detailing, and building codes (IBC, ADA, NFPA, Energy Codes).
• Active pursuit of architectural licensure (AXP completion / ARE candidates welcome).
