Stick Welders | Paducah, KY

Schedule: Monday–Saturday (6 x 10-hour shifts)
Job Length: Long-Term

We are hiring experienced Stick Welders for a busy barge repair facility on the Tennessee River near Paducah, KY.

Responsibilities:

• Perform SMAW (Stick) welding on barges and marine equipment.
• Complete structural repairs on carbon steel.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Inspect welds and maintain a safe work area.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Stick (SMAW) welding experience in a shipyard, barge repair, or heavy industrial environment.
• Proficient with 3/16" 6010 electrodes.
• Experience welding carbon steel lap joints.
• Able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors.
• Pass a welding test and pre-employment screenings.

Preferred:

• Marine or shipyard experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
