Candidate cannot reside in San Diego, Temecula, or Murrieta area.

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in San Diego, California.

Position Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Schedule: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Start Time: 6:30 AM
• On-Call: 16-hour weekend and 24-hour weekday call within a 4-week period
• Response Time: 30 minutes
• Scheduled two shifts every other weekend
• Weekend call is in addition to regularly scheduled weekend shifts

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ADN or BSN
• At least 3 years of recent RN experience
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a specialty area
• Orthopedic, neuro, and robotics experience
• Willingness and ability to participate in the required on-call schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, and individualized patient care.
• Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Provide nursing interventions appropriate to the patient's needs.
• Document patient assessments, care, and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Delegate care within appropriate scope and competency.
• Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Advocate for patients and families.
