Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts/week
Hours: 36 hours/week
Payrate: $86 (Inclusion of stipends)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Fairfield, CA. The RN will provide safe, effective, and individualized nursing care to patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, providing patient and family education, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and advocating for patients and families.
The RN will also be responsible for accurate documentation, safe patient handoffs, effective communication, delegation and supervision of appropriate care team activities, and maintaining compliance with applicable nursing standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience
- Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Ability to work 3 × 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness and ability to float to sister facilities and other departments as requested and qualified
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills
Schedule Details:
- 13-week initial contract
- 36 hours/week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Department operates under an alternative work schedule
- Overtime after 40 hours/week
- Double time after 12 hours/day
- Must be available for required class/orientation dates
