This is a Travel Position. Please do not apply if you live within 50 miles of the facility.
Candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility to be eligible.
Location: Temple, TX
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days and Nights
Schedule: 3x12s, rotating schedule (Monday–Sunday)
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
Pay Rate: $70 (W2+Stipends)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical unit in Temple, TX. This position offers a 13-week travel assignment caring for adult acute care patients in a collaborative hospital environment.
Unit Details
- Medical-Surgical Unit
- Patient ratio: 4:1 to 5:1
- Adult acute care patients
- No on-call requirement
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) experience
- Experience managing cardiac drips (preferred but not required)
- Experience caring for transplant, post-operative surgical, and urology patients
