VP of Finance / Controller – Healthcare

We are seeking an experienced healthcare accounting leader to oversee financial reporting, general ledger operations, cash flow, accounts payable, and provider payments. This role will lead accurate, timely financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial statements and related reporting.
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports and oversee account analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely provider and sub-capitation payments.
• Develop and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Support departmental budgeting and financial goals.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership.
• Support special financial projects and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 10 years of healthcare accounting experience, including five years in accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger systems and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
